Some photo sessions seem to come together at just the right time.
A few weeks before hearing from Victor, I had been considering Sage Hill Drive in San Diego Country Estates as a location for a future portrait session. When he reached out about creating branding photographs for his company, Orgallic, the choice of location felt like an easy one.
Victor is a financial consultant and the founder of Orgallic. For his portraits, he wanted a setting that reflected both professionalism and a sense of independence. The rolling hills and open spaces of Sage Hill Drive provided exactly that.

One of the things I appreciated most about working with Victor was his willingness to experiment. Rather than sticking to a rigid shot list, we explored several locations and approaches throughout the afternoon, allowing the session to evolve naturally.
As the sun dropped lower in the sky, I pulled out an old manual 135mm f/2 lens that I occasionally use when I want a different look. The combination of the long focal length, soft light, and surrounding vegetation created some of my favorite images from the session (this gallery's cover image).
By the end of the shoot, we had created a collection of photographs that felt both professional and personal, images that reflected not only Victor's work but also the thoughtful and approachable person behind it.
